Countdown to 100 is on: Parshall Centennial Updates

The countdown is on. June will be here before we know it and though there is still a lot to do and we are not ready.... I, for one, am definitely looking forward to some warmer temps! While we are asking, how about some sun for the big celebration? Notice I did not say no rain as I am still a farmer!

Area residents featured in documentary about living in the Bakken

Dakota Resource Council has released a film about living in the Bakken, titled, "This Is Our Country: Living with the Wild West Oil Boom." DRC Communications Director Sean Arithson said, "The film features everyday North Dakotans talking about how the chaotic development of the Bakken has affected lives and livelihoods."

Superintendent gets mixed review

Dr. John Weidner had his annual review at the regular meeting of the Parshall School Board on Thursday. This year Weidner received what could be looked at as a "silver star" instead of a "gold star" for his performance.

TAT Boys and Girls Club takes to the runway

In 2001, the Three Affiliated Tribes Boys and Girls Club was officially chartered. A dozen years later, the club has facilities in all six segments of the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation and has provided recreational, education and leadership opportunities for hundreds of youth in New Town, Parshall, Four Bears, White Shield, Mandaree and Twin Buttes.
